Just a little art dump since I forgot this existed (sorry)

Just a little art dump since I forgot this existed (sorry)

I made this impulsively just to see what it would look like, is it concerning that it took me 38 minutes start-to-finish? Probably. I don’t really care though lol

Just a note, I used the dry ink brush in Procreate, as well as the animation flipbook (also in Procreate, I’m too scared of Dreams). The framerate is at 15fps and the total tracked canvas time is 38 minutes
Also liquify for the first few frames. Minor duration adjustments as well for start and end frames. Ye
This is Sirius, I made him randomly but I love him a lot so I figured I’d share him with you guys. I’ve been obsessed with drawing him, to the point where him being on my schoolwork is pretty much guaranteed lol.
Anyway, I think he’s cool.

His eyes do work as stated on his ref, although I sometimes forget he even has them to be honest 😅 they also are not static in their positions, he can control them (however if he just leaves them they spin slowly around their respective rings) The rings have the same concept, they aren’t stuck where they are, and he can take them off whenever he so chooses. If he really wanted to he could technically throw them like a frisbee, though I imagine it would have the same effect as spinning repeatedly or going on a loopy rollercoaster, because the eyes can only go so far from the rings, so they’d just get whipped in a circle.
I impulsively created this in like 2 hours, idk I could’ve done better but I like it either way

Idk I made this a while ago in like an hour, it kinda sucks but the framerate was too annoying lol

This is Tetra, she’s one of the main characters for a book I’m currently writing called Fractured Flames. This is her ref sheet because she desperately needs one lol, hope you like her!

I got a new sketchbook yesterday and I’ve been very invested in it. I love drawing bones a lot, actually; they’re very intricate and delicate appearance-wise, but still within my skill set, so I get a ton of joy when I do them right. Anyways, these are traditional, obviously. But for materials I just use a regular .7 mechanical pencil, Crayola colored pencils for color, and Micron liner pens (sizes 08 and 05, but I have a 03 as well) So yeah. Here ya go!

I’ve been rereading powerless, and these are the two main characters, Kai (black hair) and Paedyn (silver hair). I wanted to practice lighting and I adore drawing them, so I figured I’d do both. Two birds one stone, right? So yeah. Here’s some pretty lighting in a poppy field that totally isn’t a blurred stock image *hides face* Enjoy!

I was messing around with a different style of drawing people, as well as using pen. I usually stick to pencil for the sake of my sanity, since I like to erase and refine my art for traditional stuff, but when I manage to do it well I love pen a lot actually. These are just random characters by the way; the curly-haired one will be back, but I’m not sure about the split-dye girl. Neither of them have names, either. I need to figure that out still. But yeah! I hope you like them, the anatomy is a bit off but they’re still cool. Another thing, the scribble is covering my signature, because PrIvAcY exists and I was an idiot who forgot to add it after I posted it. *facepalms* Anyway, enjoy my art.

Following the Wings of Fire stuff, I wanted to test a brush on Procreate and this is what came of it. The brush is the default Peppermint brush in the sketching category (classic library) and this is a headshot of Queen Ruby from WoF. She’s really pretty, and I think I did her justice despite not remembering her character much. So yeah! I hope you like her. I have some more designs of the Dragonets of Destiny in a bit; they’ll look a lot like Glory’s in layout, but each will be unique cuz character design is really fun.
